Visit the Capegate Ice Slide
Enter into a magical ice age-themed world and zoom down three different toboggan-style ice slides from 14 June to 7 July!
This year you and your family can try out a 28m long curved slide, a 24m long dipper as well as a 1.5m kiddie’s slide, which are all made from real ice.
Kids will also get to play with real ice at the Ice Play station.
Learn more about different, life-sized animals that lived during the ice age!All animals are set to simulate their natural environment and habitat of their time. You can learn all about the Woolly Mammoth, Saber-toothed Tiger, Irish elk, Terror Bird and Glyptodon.

Our annual winter special returns yet again to heat things up! Head to Cape Point between the 1st of June 2019 and the 31st of July 2019 where two kids (aged 6 -16) ride for free on the Flying Dutchman Funicular, when an adult return ticket is bought for R80. The funicular is the only one of its type in Africa and takes its name from the local legend of the Flying Dutchman ghost ship. Hop in for a ride which will take you all the way to the top station, whilst enjoying the amazing Cape Point views. Once you’ve built up an appetite, head on down to the Two Oceans Restaurant.
