One step – that is all it takes

When you feel inspired to do something, do it! Whether it be changing jobs, calling a friend or helping a stranger. As cautious as I am, I find that when I follow that feeling amazing things happen! Of course, do it with thought. If you feel strongly that now is the time to change jobs, you may want to find a new one before quitting the old one (just an idea 😉 )

At times, you may feel scared to proceed in the direction that you feel prompted to go. You could probably find 100 Reasons why not to (trust me, I know!). I believe if you take one step in the right direction, things will happen. These are not coincidences, no, not at all! Whether you believe in God, the Universe or Energy; you know that miracles do happen (even as little they may appear to others).

Do it because you want to live a more fulfilling life, do it because you want your family to be happy and your friends inspired but mostly do it because when you do it, you give others permission to do the same. Remember that quote by Marianne Williamson (quoted by President Mandela):

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Now, there is a lot packed into that quote, but let’s focus on what I mentioned earlier. When we live the truth of who we are we give others permission to do the same. We will also have happier family life and be successful in what we do. Does that mean no hard work? No. Hard Work will always come with the package but as we choose to live true to who we are we will find joy in work (and if not there is always rewarding oneself with chocolate).

So, start moving in the right direction. Start doing what you feel inspired to do and see the magic happen. Share it with us when it does, we would love to hear from you in the comments below!
