We have another game to share with you! I love testing out new games with my family. After a lovely day spent exploring the beach and a delicious meal out, we came home and got into our PJs. Comfortable and ready for game night, we took on our new game, Kluster!
At first, Kluster may seem like a simple game, but we have learned from experience that the simpler games are, often, the most complicated in the best way! Kluster comes with magnets and an orange string/cord. The magnets have different shapes, which is important. The aim of the game is to get all of your magnets into the string area without making a “Kluster”. It’s easy initially, but as the magnets fill up the area, it starts to get the same “hold-your-breath” jenga excitement as each turn gets harder. It is even more fun when a “kluster” happens, and just as you recover from the surprise “kluster”, it often has a knock-on effect with more and more magnets connecting (here is where the shape helps) easily moving the person with the least magnets to the person with the most.
Gather your friends, siblings and parents because there’s a new game in town! Kluster is a quick, easy to transport, incredibly fun, really simple, accessible to everyone, full of strategy game. It can be played solo or with other players, up to four. It’s very entertaining and perfect for group play.
Magnetic stones are equally shared between players, who must, in turn, place one stone inside the area delimited by the cord. The first player to get rid of their magnets wins. But beware, when stones kluster together during one player’s turn, that player collects them.

On the game box, it says 14+. I do think it could be played by some younger kids, depending on their abilities, but you would just need to make sure that they don’t swallow any of the magnets. This game would be perfect to take with you travelling / on holiday. It’s small, compact, and can be played on almost any flat surface. Just pack it separately from your electronic devices; they are pretty strong magnets!
Players need to be aware that the strong magnets need to be kept away from small children as they can cause internal injury if swallowed. Magnets should also be kept away from magnetically sensitive devices such as credit cards and pacemakers.
