If you haven’t heard about vision boards, a vision board is (as defined by the dictionary):
A collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation.
For me, it is about being intentional for the year ahead, putting my goals and dreams down, and becoming clear about where I want to take my life (and how I want to grow and nurture my family). I love doing this by cutting out images from magazines and creating that physical representation and reminder but with us moving to a more digital world and constantly being on the move, it is nice to have a digital representation (which you can access at any time and something you could print if you wanted to). So, I have a solution for you which I am using this year, and all my Pinterest Moms will love it.

Firstly, create a new Pinterest board called ‘Vision Board’ – this can be a Private Board. Pin to your board all the images that represent your vision for this new year. This can be for your career (if you are working), your family, your home, your emotional and spiritual growth, your health, and more. For example, a healthy meal can represent a healthier eating plan for you and your family or a women reading could represent a plan to schedule more “me time”. Those are just some examples, but you get the idea.
Now, download the Shuffles by Pinterest app and log in with your Pinterest account.
Shuffles is a new app designed for collective collaging. Want to curate a festival outfit? Visualize your dream bedroom? Moodboard your current aesthetic vibe? Or just express yourself by creating something beautiful, strange, or funny? You’ll love Shuffles.

Create your vision board by pulling images from Pinterest – they are “cut out” and you are able to create a vision board collage. Visit it often to remind yourself of where you want to be by the end of the year.
Recently, I was looking over my old vision boards and realised that almost all of the items/goals on my vision boards had come to fruition. Putting things down on paper whether in writing or visually, helps you create the life you want. For me, seeing things visually works better but writing things down may work better for you. Whichever approach you take, make time to think about the year ahead and where you want to be at the end of it. You matter! You deserve to grow and realise goals and dreams in this year. Also, think bigger than you normally do – stop thinking small when you have such great potential 🩷.

Tell us in the comments below what are your goals for this new year. We’d love to see what you have planned!
