Travel and Drive-Ins

Yay for travel! The ban on intra-provincial travel for leisure has been lifted. We are so excited! Also, parks like Kirstenbosch are reopening. Don’t get too excited, though, and forget to take precautions. Have fun but be smart.

Another bit of exciting news (yes, I know, lots of excitement. . .127 days later and I am ready!). Galileo theatre has brought back the drive-in!

The Galileo Drive In

The Galileo Drive In, in proud partnership with KFM 94.5, has brought back the beloved drive-in at a string of spectacular venues around the city and surrounding winelands, including Meerendal Wine Estate, Kenilworth Racecourse, Kelvin Grove Club, Lourensford Wine Estate, Nederburg Wine Farm and many more. With very stringent hygiene measures and COVID-19 safety regulations in place, they are keeping movie-goers safe while providing the opportunity to have some much-needed fun in these dispiriting times.

Keeping The Galileoโ€™s unique twist of pairing insanely good food with blockbuster hits, youโ€™ll be able to order pizzas, popcorn and other delicious snacks with your tickets at Webtickets checkout, with collection taking place upon arrival โ€“ easy, safe and convenient!

Embrace the nostalgia and book your tickets for an epic evening out with your backseat buddies. Tickets and more information available at www.thegalileo.co.za/drive-in/. ย
