A Tiny Kitchen

May 10, 2013

I have a tiny kitchen and I love it! I love looking through Pinterest discovering new ways to use my tiny space. Do you have a tiny space in your house? Pinterest is great because now we get to discover how creative people all over the world are and they have some really amazing ideas.

If you, like me, have a tiny kitchen; here are some tips and ideas on how to work with your small space:

  1. Build Up
  2. Choose smaller appliances (especially for the ones which don’t get a lot of use)
  3. Clean as you go. You don’t want dirty dishes to take over valuable counter space and you are less likely to knock over/break something. Complete smaller tasks fully before going onto the next task.
  4. Use Natural Light, Neutrals and a pop of Colour. Make a small kitchen feel open and airy by using a light colour palette and plenty of natural light.
  5. Make your stored food decorative. Think about the way you store your food – can it be decorative? Little tins for spices and canisters for staples mean that you don’t have to hide anything – and they’re within easy reach when cooking.
